WPI Fraternities and Sororities

Madigan has been hired by several different fraternities and sororities at nearby WPI to build or renovate their houses.  Our local knowledge and ability to perform fast paced projects in tight sites and older buildings has made us the go-to contractor in the area for this type of work.  These jobs typically include specific challenges related to accessibility and life safety code upgrades of older, residential-type properties.

For Lambda Chi Alpha we took over 3 contiguous properties, demolished one to construct a parking lot, and joined the two remaining structures with a connector addition and completely renovated the two older buildings.  For Tau Kappa Epsilon we completely renovated their main building and dormitory, including a full code upgrade.  Alpha Gamma Delta purchased a large single-family home, and Madigan was tasked with renovating it into a sorority house including a new parking area, utility upgrades throughout the building and a new handicap ramp.  At Phi Kappa Theta, we performed a “summer-slammer” style project and completely renovated the building over the course of 10 weeks.
