St. Benedict Classical Academy

Madigan was selected as the Construction Manager for the inaugural building at the new campus of St. Benedict Classical Academy in Natick. Collaborating closely with St. Benedict, Harrison Design Associates (the designer), and Vertex Engineering (the owner's representative), we guided the project from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring it was ready to welcome elementary school students in the fall of 2025.

This project was particularly distinctive, designed in traditional architecture, and Madigan is proud to have contributed to it. The building's exterior features Duration siding and custom trim, a Ludowici clay tile roof, and a comprehensive landscaping package. Inside, the school includes classrooms, faculty offices, a library, a grand entrance hall, and an assembly hall, all adorned with custom wood trim. The design emphasizes student flow and experience, with abundant natural light throughout. 

A guiding principle for the school during this project was that "Architecture is the first teacher of the student,". The dedication to quality and attention to detail in every aspect of the construction process reflects the commitment to creating an educational environment that is both functional and inspiring. The use of classical design elements pays homage to timeless architectural principles while integrating modern amenities to support a 21st-century learning experience.

As the doors open to the first students, the school stands not only as a center for academic excellence but as a testament to the collaborative spirit and shared vision of everyone involved. It is a space where children can grow, explore, and thrive, surrounded by an environment that celebrates beauty, harmony, and the pursuit of knowledge.
