East Longmeadow Assisted Living

This renovation of a skilled nursing facility into a 21-apartment assisted living facility helped to satisfy the growing need of an aging community. It will house 21 tenants with varying space and health requirements in an attractive and updated facility. Most of the challenges involved with this type of project included updating an aging facility all while maintaining the project budget by working directly with the owner to determine and meeting needs with cost-efficient and practical solutions.

Renovations included updates to the electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems as well as creating larger living spaces with all new finishes. A new entrance was installed including exterior finishes to tie this project in with the surrounding facilities.
