After having successfully performed several projects for Boch Automotive in the past, Madigan was called upon as construction manager to construct a new suburban Honda dealership to extend the reach of the very successful Boch Honda Norwood. Madigan worked closely with the design team, and successfully completed the project on schedule and below budget.
A challenge on the project was maintaining access to the adjacent post office during construction, and completely reconstructing its entranceway as part of the newly designed site. The site, adjacent to busy route 495, was difficult to develop due to the amount of ledge that needed to be removed to make way for the building and site drainage systems.
The new dealership features a 12,000 sf, 2-story new vehicle showroom, a drive through service reception area with high-speed overhead doors, a comfortable service waiting area, and a 24,000 sf 40-bay state of the art service area.
