Bishop Feehan High School Innovation and Arts Center

Location: Attleboro, MA
Client:
 Bishop Feehan High School
Architect: Juster Pope Frazier Architects

Starting construction during the summer of 2022, this project involved the renovation of an existing wing of Bishop Feehan High School, as well as a large addition, which served as the focal point of the school's Daring to Believe Capital Campaign. The project featured several different types of spaces, including renovated spaces for the school's band and theater programs, as well as new classrooms and lab spaces featuring an eSports area, a robotics arena, a 3-D printing lab, and a green-screen room.

As construction was done on this project throughout the school year, care was taken to limit impacts on the students and faculty as much as possible, including scheduling deliveries around morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, performing shut-downs on weekends and school breaks, and allowing the school to still meet its school year parking needs. The addition, which features a two-story lobby atrium with a skylight, grand staircase and graphic walls, will serve as a focal point for learning as the school welcomes students for years to come.
