Unibank Gold Star Boulevard

Madigan built this new bank branch for UniBank on the heavily traveled Gold Star Boulevard in Worcester. This ground up project was intentionally designed to make a statement, with an expansive glass exterior that was incorporated on all sides of the building. The project included the installation of sixty 70 ft piles to structurally support the building. Radiant heat throughout the first floor and exterior building were a high-end touch included in design.
The building is constructed of structural steel, metal framing, brick, and precast masonry. Complex HVAC systems in tight quarters, driving the piles, and a difficult winter were key challenges that Madigan overcame to deliver a successful project. We have since built 4 additional UniBank branches, showing the trust that UniBank has in our capabilities.
