Francis W. Madigan III

Fran, upon graduation from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1979, began his fulltime career at F.W. Madigan Company, Inc. His positions have included Estimator, Project Manager, Vice President of Operations and in 1999 he assumed the role of President/CEO, a position he held until 2017. In his current role, Fran oversees the company's financial matters and is responsible for maintaining management's focus on controlled growth. In his Risk Management function, his focus is minimizing risk for Madigan while maintaining continuous client satisfaction and corporate profitability. Fran is the current Chair of the Worcester Regional Research Bureau, the incoming Chair of the American General Contractors (AGC) of America Education and Research Foundation which provides scholarships to students seeking careers in the Construction Industry, a longtime member of WPI's Civil & Environmental Engineering Department Industry Advisory Board, an American Institute of Constructors-Certified Professional Constructor, Past President of the AGC of Massachusetts, and a current member of the Board of Governors and Life Director of AGC of America.
